Before you start calling the cops, hold on a bit.
How many hours do you spend at work each day?
For someone like me, i spend an average of 10 hours each day at work.
I actually spend more hours at home because i get to sleep at home.
I spend an hour and half each day in the kitchen and about an hour relaxing before the TV.
Hmmmn, this sharing of hours is sounding a bit scary. I hope you are doing your own calculations.
If you spend so much time at work each day, why do you still find it difficult to get along with some colleagues?
When i say YOU, i don’t necessarily mean you as in you.
It is important we as corporate employees have a very good working relationship with your colleagues. They are the closest people to you known by others.
You spend the longest time with them day in day out, you don’t need to add to your hearts burden by keeping malice with anyone.
Have you wondered why people tag you with your work place? You hear names like “Andrew water department”.
If something happens per adventure, your office will be traced first before checking out your home address.
What i am saying today?
Be a good team player
Maintain a great working relationship with colleagues
Settle differences according to their merits
Live a life of peace always.
Do have a great day.
Much Love and Peppersoup
NB: The Side Business 101 course is coming soon. Tell your friends about it.
May 1st is a day set aside to celebrate workers worldwide. We had our own special celebration by coming together to host our own multiple award AOP, Steven Sotanwa (Sweet Steve). It was a mind-blowing strategy analysis and brainstorming session.
We started with asking questions, some of which are:
Some of the factors we discovered ranged from POOR STAFF TRAINING, SPRING UP OF SIMILAR OUTFIT, COMFORTABILITY OF MANAGEMENT and LACK OF INNOVATION.
Captain Cook came up with a decentralised distribution model. They installed kiosks in every major street in town and delivered freshly baked bread at intervals every day. Captain Cook shifted from SELLING BREAD to SELLING CONVINIENCE.
Laffta Unplugged has its success on sacrifice, people and planning. Above all, it has its dependence on God.
We learnt about tips for best prices when shopping in a mall and also strategies behind running promos.
I must confess that I learnt many more things and above all, a new partnership was formed that day.
It was a wholesome experience.

Welcome to work !!!
A day after public holidays are always hectic. So many deadlines to meet and so many customers to attend to. It is a shift from pleasure to pressure.
A day like today is always characterized with pressure and flying tempers. If you work in a people facing environment like mine, people expect you to perform “miracles” today.
How do you get through the day in one piece?
1. Make up your mind to enjoy your day no matter what
2. Have a cheerful disposition
3. Be organised
4. Eat well ( eat heavy if need be)
5. Apologize even for crimes not committed
6. Share this post
Aiit , have a pressure free day.

Do you watch NCIS? I think I am just addicted to the series.
If you are as addicted as I am to NCIS, you will love Gibbs as much as I do.
While watching an episode of the series, Gibbs spoke to me.
I am sure are doubting me right?
Gibbs made two sentences that jumped out at me. It seems as if the script was written just for me. Those words were like a reset to my brain.
Gibbs said: “Things change but reasons don’t change. It is either you have a reason or you don’t”.[Tweet “Things change but reasons don’t change. It is either you have a reason or you don’t.”]
My favorite part is the second sentence, those words are deep.
I am putting out 2 questions to you.
What is your reason for doing what you are doing?
What are you doing to make sure that circumstances don’t change your resolve?
The answer to these questions will set you on a right footing as you start out this year.

I am really excited.
Not just because it is Christmas, but I have been truly favored in the last 4 days.
My secondary school class has a Whatsapp group and one person is featured weekly as the face of the group. The person is celebrated and prayed for by all.
Surprisingly, I was made the face of the group on Monday. This caught me by surprise not knowing that another surprise was in the corner.
This morning, I got a call from a staff of the one and only Bankole Williams informing me that I will be featured in the Facebook group. I was still in this euphoria when I received a call from Coach B himself.
Whoops, whoop – I am still excited.
Please join me tomorrow by 8am.

ANY OTHER THING?
Senate will sit on the entries . Entries end by midnight, 24th December.
Lets go there
My dear friend,
It is truly not easy to win. I now understand what Muhammad Ali meant when he said:
“He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life”.
On December 3rd, the day of my VALID DREAMS with Francisca event, every thing already planned went wrong.
Nothing went as planned and it got to a point that I was trying all my best to keep calm and not burst into tears.
I considered cancelling the event but I had a rethink.
How about the lives this event will touch?
What happens to the people who will move in leaps and bounds to their dreams? How will I handle those precious people who will get the push by listening to my words?
With these thoughts dancing in my ears, I moved to the side of courage. I took the risk to win.
I went ahead with the event and it was worth every second and more.
It was impactful and I even got to dance during my last presentation. (I am a good dancer o. If you are in any doubt, get the recording by clicking here).
To crown it all, I got a gift of a book.
I was all smiles afterwards. The day ended well.
WHAT DID PARTICIPANTS HAVE TO SAY
We had a great time. Thank you Francisca Nnadi-Ogunlade continue to bless more lives. – Olufemi Iroko
Its definitely a step in the right direction and am very sure the next edition would witness an even greater number in terms of attendance. Your hustle is legit, the drive is superb and the last ingredient is for us participants to start giving testimonies to the efficacy of the brew – Tunde Ariyo .
My dear friend, great steps are always like this. In order to win, you have to be on the side of courage and take the risk.
Remember also that it is not about you, it is about those waiting for you.[Tweet “Remember also that it is not about you, it is about those waiting for you”] Much Love.
NB: The recording will be ready for delivery next week Wednesday, December 14th, 2016. You can pre order yours now( you stand to get 50% slash in the cost of courier if you order before 14th December, 2016). Click here to get your discount.
Life is a phases, every phase has its own uniqueness and lesson attached.
I learnt a salient lesson during this past week based on my sudden hospitalization and on one other experience I had yesterday.
I was feeling drowsy after taking my drugs yesterday night. I quickly plugged in my phone and drifted off to sleep, this was around 8pm. I woke up by 2am and picked up my phone to find my way to the restroom . I was shocked to see my phone at 1% .
What could have happened?
I was certain we had power for over 4 hours because I remember waking up briefly around 11pm.
Was my phone charger faulty?
Did I have an app open which was eroding my battery life?
So many questions came to my mind. I had to wait till this morning to ask my mum.
The socket where I plugged in the phone was switched off during the whole period – IMAGINE.
[Tweet “The socket where I plugged in the phone was switched off during the whole period – IMAGINE”]
I had an AHA moment at that point.
We can make so many plans and prepare so hard towards a vision but the ultimate approval Is from God.
Just like my phone plugged in, it was not charging because the socket was off.
My calendar was already planned out for a period of two weeks and one event I was already looking forward to was the invite I got from one of the biggest banks in Nigeria for a private unveiling of a product slated for tomorrow 28th. I had looked forward to networking with great people and learning new things during the event but then, the Almighty did not approve.
Should I be sad that my plans did not work as planned?
Yes, No, Maybe.
Will I carry on with my plans even though it is a bit late?
Is there a take away for me?
Yes- things don’t always work out as planned.[Tweet “Yes- things don’t always work out as planned.”]
NB: I am yet to post my podcast initially slated for last week. Once the issues are sorted out, be sure to be the first to listen.
