VALID DREAMS with Francisca, Workers day special edition with Sweet Steve
May 1st is a day set aside to celebrate workers worldwide. We had our own special celebration by coming together to host our own multiple award AOP, Steven Sotanwa (Sweet Steve). It was a mind-blowing strategy analysis and brainstorming session.
We started with asking questions, some of which are:
- Why is it that hotels and fun joints around our location lose steam after the first year of opening?
Some of the factors we discovered ranged from POOR STAFF TRAINING, SPRING UP OF SIMILAR OUTFIT, COMFORTABILITY OF MANAGEMENT and LACK OF INNOVATION.
- What is the winning strategy of the bestselling bakery in town using Captain Cook Bread as a case study?
Captain Cook came up with a decentralised distribution model. They installed kiosks in every major street in town and delivered freshly baked bread at intervals every day. Captain Cook shifted from SELLING BREAD to SELLING CONVINIENCE.
- How did #LafftaUnplugged move from “an idea” to a sold out Comedy Show in Ondo State?
Laffta Unplugged has its success on sacrifice, people and planning. Above all, it has its dependence on God.
We learnt about tips for best prices when shopping in a mall and also strategies behind running promos.
I must confess that I learnt many more things and above all, a new partnership was formed that day.
It was a wholesome experience.
